Resourceful Ways to Fund the Art Room

Resourceful Ways to Fund the Art Room

Episode 24 Podcast Recap

In this episode, we dive into more ways of funding your art room from the last episode. However, we talk about how to be more resourceful with your funding. There are many factors that can affect the budget for your art room. While it might be stressful trying to figure out how you’re going to be able to afford all the necessary supplies you need, we’ve got you covered!

Don’t ever underestimate asking for help! Ask for donations from parents, your schools parent support group, other teachers and coworkers, friends and family. They might be able to give you things they were already going to throw away like yarn or scrapbook paper. Put together an Amazon wishlist and share it on social media. Ask local businesses to donate to your classroom. There are so many people out there who want to help support teachers! Take advantage.

Other ways we talk about getting funding are having auctions where you showcase and sell student artwork, doing fundraisers meant for art teachers, and writing grants. When you really start thinking and digging, there are a lot of ways you can get what you need! We hope this helps and we hope you enjoy the episode!

Keep blending,
